bioHomer Boushey, MD is a Professor of Medicine and the Chief of the Division of Allergy and Immunology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Boushey serves as the Director of the Research Review Committee for the Health Effects Institute, a federally-madated, EPA funded institute charged with examining the health effects of the products of combustion of fuels, especially from mobile resources. He is the principal investigator for many National Institutes of Health (NIH) sponsored studies on asthma and served on the National Asthma Expert Panel of the NIH. Dr. Boushey is recognized nationally and internationally for his work in the field of pulmonary medicine. |
